CUES, Currency Marketing on the Lookout for ‘Next Top Exec’

Today, CUES and Currency Marketing announced a competition to find a fresh, young voice to help move the credit union industry in the future.

The Next Top Credit Union Executive challenge, www.nexttopcreditunionexec.com, calls for young credit union professionals under the age of 35 to submit a 60-second informational YouTube video that discusses their role at their credit union and a pitch about a current project or program they are working on or an idea to advance their credit union or the industry as a whole.

“We want to make it easy for our CUES members to grow future leaders,” said Barb Kachelski, senior vice president/chief information officer at CUES.

Applicants have until June 1, 2010, to apply. Applicants will be broken down into six regions, and the applicant with the most votes in each region will become a finalist. Finalists will receive a package worth $5,000 to attend CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network conference in November to present their project. The winner will receive an additional $20,000 in educational prizes from CUES and the opportunity to continue to publish monthly updates on their project on the Next Top Credit Union Exec blog.
