Applicant 7: Leonard Padua
Leonard Padua is a 33-year-old eServices Manager at Coast360 Federal Credit Union ($300M) in Maite, Guam.
Synopsis As eServices Manager of Coast360 Federal Credit Union, my goal is to expand our electronic services portfolio, supporting the green initiatives of our credit union. Under my lead, the eServices team works to enhance member experience through convenient products and services that consider our environment. A notable project I am working on includes achieving principal membership status with MasterCard International, significantly improving our Business Member portfolio through merchant services. My projects that contribute to our green initiative include developing an online voting system for our Annual Election and Membership Meeting, which brings in thousands of members each year. This will give our members a convenient voting alternative, while alleviating thousands of paper ballots. I was also part of the core team responsible for launching the credit union’s new online banking platform, which has achieved favorable usage numbers to date and will aid in efforts to of reduced paper consumption.
Although these projects and concepts may not be new to the credit union industry, they are new to our credit union and our community. Not only do they enhance our product offering and service delivery, but add to our environmental footprint.
