The credit union industry needs young, up-and-coming leaders to step up and share their ideas. Both credit unions and these future leaders can only benefit.

That's essentially what the CUES Emerge program is all about. It's a unique and proven program that combines online learning, peer collaboration, and an exciting competition component to foster our industry's future stars. CUES Emerge, which is free to enter, is the next iteration of the highly successful, decade-long Next Top Credit Union Executive program that generated new leaders and game-changing business ideas for the industry.
That said, it's time for the next crop of competitors to throw their hats in the Emerge ring, sharing their ideas, refining their business cases, and improving themselves to further their careers -- all while helping credit unions better serve their members. Applications for this program are already being accepted, starting January 5 and closing February 10.
To get an overview and inside look at this year's CUES Emerge, we invited 2020's winner Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union Executive Assistant Lindsey Walker and Currency Marketing Founder/Creative Director and Emerge Co-creator Tim McAlpine on the show. Tim provided the who, what, where, when, why, and how of Emerge; while Lindsey shared her experience and how the program has enhanced her professional career. She even provided a bit of advice for this year's candidates, as well.
