Salem’s Maps Credit Union wins national competition

Congratulations to Amanda Brenneman, who represented Salem’s Maps Credit Union in the national 2013 Next Top Credit Union Executive Competition. Out of 29 applicants, she went through several rounds of evaluation and brought home the top prize!
What’s really cool is that she won based on her work developing Maps’ Buy Local Program. This is another “win-win” in that it gives the Buy Local Program more exposure as a best practice to replicate in support of local economies elsewhere even as it strengthens and reaffirms the success of efforts in Salem to support local business and the development of a local economy.
