Creating the means to grow incredible Credit Union leaders!

Synopsis
A couple of questions -- “Where is our credit union going and how are we going to get there?”

My first thought is: “WHO IS GOING TO GET US THERE AND HOW ARE WE GOING TO DEVELOP THEM?"

Synergy Emerging Leaders is a cross-organizational committee made up of leaders and emerging leaders who are striving for success personally and for our Credit Union.

For the past 3 years I have been directly involved with Synergy Emerging Leaders, holding various positions including: committee member, secretary, vice-chair and currently, the Chairperson.

Our aim is to foster personal development and create opportunities through networking with others, encouraging ideas and sharing our experiences as we develop through our careers.

For the 2014 year, we have identified 3 key initiatives or goals for the committee:

  • Focus on Financial Literacy
  • Recruitment
  • Employee Engagement

Ultimately, it is our emerging leaders who are the future of our Credit Unions and I’m striving to further advance SYNERGY EMERGING LEADERS by focusing on these key initiatives and our overall objectives.
