Short Pitch
Leveraging technology to expedite decisions and improve the Member experience.
Synopsis
To remain competitive in an industry that is always being asked to “Do more with less”, being on the cutting edge and leveraging technology is imperative. With ever increasing demand and volume, the ability to expedite the decision-making process is crucial and leads to a positive Member experience. One of the projects we are working on in the Consumer Operations Department, specific to Indirect and Direct Auto Lending is maximizing and leveraging our Auto Decision capabilities. This involves the replication of underwriting behaviors within operating systems based on our overall risk appetite. As part of this project we have been tasked with increasing workflow efficiency, reducing decision turn time exponentially and remaining prudent in the decisions that are being made. With the successful completion of this project it will continue to position United Federal Credit Union at the forefront and lead by example for the credit union industry.
