Project Title
NeXt! 2.0

Short Pitch
All Inclusive Development Program

Synopsis
NeXt! 2.0 is an all-inclusive program. It doesn’t matter if you are young or old. A leader or happy leaving the important decisions to others and focusing on being the best you can be in your role. NeXt! 2.0 is about helping group members get to their next step. We understand that the next step is not the same for everyone. So, why have a development program that leads everyone in the same direction? Doing so just didn't make sense for us.

NeXt! 2.0 is all about exposing employees to different opportunities inside and outside the credit union to discover who they want to be. In addition to monthly meetings, we have done things like invite James Marshall to speak at one of our events, attend a special event hosted by the St Louis Chapter of Credit Unions, encourage engagement with others through sites like the Cooperative Trust and CUNA Councils, assist our Marketing department with special events, and we even crashed a board and ALCO meeting in addition to many other opportunities.

In the coming months, we’ll be taking this program in to overdrive because it’s our one year anniversary. We’ll be evaluating the program and looking at ways to improve, supporting even more development opportunities by getting involved in chamber groups for the cities we are located in, attending advocacy training and supporting CU advocacy measures, and restructuring our program develop dollars to help each member meet their specific development needs.
