Developing collaborative, innovative, world class leaders at Conexus Credit Union.

Synopsis
Conexus Emerging Leaders (CEL) fosters and supports an engaged network of empowered members. Collaborating with colleagues under 35, we cooperatively develop self-aware, innovative leaders who own a shared vision; to make a meaningful difference in the well-being of their members, their credit union and their teammates. By enhancing leadership competency development, we lead self and others while growing and inspiring a culture of versatile, accountable, world class leadership.

With key initiatives of Innovation, Collaboration, Community and Mentorship we aim to attract and retain engaged employees by providing opportunities to further develop leadership competencies. We employ a shared leadership structure via our committee, champions and members at large, with a goal of providing value and growth to all involved and have our members share that with their teams.

Our internal collaborative spirit is matched by our focus to connect to national, provincial and individual emerging leader groups across the credit union system. We believe open collaboration across the CU system isn’t the future, it’s the now and the sooner we can connect emerging leaders, the more free-flowing collaboration will be and it will power the growth of the credit union system.
