Short Pitch
To attract, engage and inspire emerging leaders in the Credit Union system
Synopsis
Build on the success of our internal Coastal Young Leaders Network and take to the 42 other credit unions in the British Columbia. The potential is to reach 5,000 young leaders in the system through webinars, guest speakers, conference streams and networking events. This is a great way to connect smaller credit unions that may not have the capacity to set up their own young leaders network but have high potential leaders they would like to retain. For some of the larger credit unions, it is another avenue to showcase their strength in numbers and build on the cooperative principles that we all built our businesses on.
We are in the initial stages of this plan and are moving forward with a pitch to our Credit Union Central, CEOs across BC and others stakeholders to gain support from both a participation and funding level.
We should be finished this process by September with the full program up and running by early to mid-2016.
