Project Title
"The Power of 7" Campaign
Short Pitch
PCM's "Power of 7" campaign hightlights training that helps employees understand and express the co-operative principals to others.
Synopsis
In order for credit union employees to effectively express the credit union difference, we have to give them the right tools. We need to teach employees the co-operative principals in ways that make sense to them. This will create buy-in and knowledge that they can use to effectively express to others why we are the best choice for them financially. Everyone wants to feel like they make a difference and in our case...we do. We already do great things for our members and our communities, we just need to effectively express those achievements to others. 71% of millennials have little to no knowledge of credit unions. That problem can be solved by knowledge and simple word of mouth. Credit unions offer all of the products and values that are important to millennials, they just don't know it yet. People love to talk about things that they feel passionate about. Our "Power of 7" campaign will highlight the credit union diffe rence in ways that are designed to empower our employees, keep them excited and engaged, and will ultimately turn them into ambassadors of not only PCM Credit Union but of the entire credit union movement. This will help them feel knowledgeable about the credit union difference. That knowledge will then empower our employees to become advocates to others when they are asked "what can the credit union do for me?".
