Inspirational Leadership, Don’t Ever Stop!

What can I say about the Royals season and run at the World Series? Plain and simple, pure INSPIRATION! This team came together to rally a city, a state and the nation to #BeInspired! I can’t and won’t take anything anyway from the Giants. They played lights out when needed. They had a solid pitcher, an outstanding 3rd baseman who could hit and field, and above all else – leadership.

After a dramatic end to Game 7, the Giants were the ones celebrating in Kansas City instead of the home team. But while the season ended for the Royals, the excitement and inspiration they generated did not. The Kansas City fans stood up while the Giants celebrated and started to chant, “Let’s Go Royals, Let’s Go Royals!” The pride the fans had was due to the inspiration of their beloved team.

The Credit Union Philosophy
You might be asking “Okay Noel, what does this have to do with credit unions?” Well, consider it from this prospective – we all have our ups and downs in business, but it is up to us to motivate and inspire everyone around us. At United Federal Credit Union, we continually find ways to improve our cooperation by seeking feedback from our Members, our Team and our consultants. We have earned many awards recently, but that doesn’t mean we stop improving. This is inspiration to me because it acknowledges that we always look for better and more efficient ways to serve the Team and our Members.

How many times have we saved a Member time and money? How many times have you recognized someone for doing so? 

One game, one series, one season does not define you. It is how you respond going forward and how you inspire others that builds a better future.
