Dear nominee,

Congratulations on being nominated as one of the credit union industry’s next top executives! Your nomination alone indicates that you have what it takes to win this amazing contest.

Four years ago, I was fortunate enough to be nominated for the CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec and, amidst incredible competition, I won the coveted top honor. At the time, I did not fully comprehend how valuable the prize package was for such an award. Now, after completing the three CEO Institutes, I would place the value of the award as "priceless".

In fact, the entire experience is invaluable. You will have opportunities to refine your communication, presentation and time management skills. You also will expand your network and meet many wonderful, insightful leaders along the way. During the competition, you will grow personally and professionally as you receive professional coaching. After the contest, you will grow personally and professionally as you gain insights and knowledge from some of the finest business schools in the country.

The CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec competition is an incredible learning opportunity and one I wish everyone eligible would consider pursuing. The competition is stiff; the process is challenging; the feedback is powerful; and the results do not come easy but the reward is incredible. Doesn’t that sound like what it takes to be an executive?
