View Presentations, Vote for CUES® Next Top Credit Union Exec, Nov. 9

Final presentations for the 2015 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge are set for Monday, November 9, during CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network™ in Scottsdale, Ariz. The competition is supported by a partnership with CUES strategic partner DDJ Myers Ltd., Phoenix, and CUES Supplier member Currency, Chilliwack, B.C., Canada.

The Finalists, five young credit union employees, have been blogging and posting videos at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com about their respective projects in preparation for the face-off event, which will be live streamed via NextTopCreditUnionExec.com.

The five Finalists are:

  • Danielle Buscher, West Community Credit Union, O’Fallon, Mo., United States
  • Garrick Throckmorton, Allegacy Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., United States
  • Hayley Badeaux, Shell Geismar Federal Credit Union in Giesmar, La., United States
  • Jimese Harkley, America's First Federal Credit Union in Birmingham, Ala., United States
  • Kris Wanner, Conexus Credit Union in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

The Finalists will have seven minutes to recap their projects for the judging panel and audience, who will vote for their favorite Finalist.

CUES member and Judge Tammy Williams, chief culture officer at Verve, a credit union in Oshkosh, Wis. said, “Credit unions are well known for their cooperative spirit. With the CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge, our Finalists display that cooperative spirit by sharing their stories, their ideas, and themselves. Because of our Finalists, people have learned about the great ideas that come from credit unions and our focus on serving our members – today and in the future. This is how credit unions will continue to thrive.”

Tune in from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on November 9 to view the presentations via live stream at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com. The public can also vote online for their favorite Finalists between 4:00 p.m. Eastern time on November 9 and 6:00 p.m. Eastern time on November 10. The Finalist with the highest score, based on a combination of judging panel results, audience votes, online votes and social media engagement, will earn the title of 2015 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec and a $20,000 educational prize package from CUES.
